'Grey's Anatomy' Says Goodbye to [Spoiler] in Dramatic Season 13 Finale

18 May 2017 6:04 PM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven't watched the season 13 finale of Grey's Anatomy. Read creator Shonda Rhimes' statement about the latest exit here.

Grey’s Anatomy bid farewell to another Grey Sloan doctor.

On Thursday’s season 13 finale, titled “Ring of Fire,” the aftermath of last week’s shocking explosion left many fans wondering about the fate of Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton), who was thrown from the blast after attempting to stop it from happening in the first place.

Though Stephanie miraculously survived, the harrowing experience she went through afterward -- saving the young girl, Erin, from losing her leg and keeping them both safe from the fire -- was traumatic enough to set her on a new path and say goodbye to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. As a result, Thursday’s finale marked Hinton’s final episode as a series regular on Grey’s.

'Grey's Anatomy': A Shocking Explosion Leaves One Doctor's Fate in Question -- Is [Spoiler] Gone for Good?

11 May 2017 6:59 PM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Grey’s Anatomy just blew the roof off season 13’s penultimate episode.

At the end of Thursday’s episode, titled “True Colors,” Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) found herself in harm’s way with a patient, Keith, whom she wrongly assumed was worried about another victim’s well-being following a horrific car accident. When she realized that he was attempting to rape the female victim, it was already too late.

With Grey Sloan Memorial on lockdown as the docs feverishly searched for Keith, he held Stephanie hostage with a scalpel by the neck, seeking a way out of the hospital without getting caught. His attempt at successfully escaping was all for naught, though, as the lockdown forced him, Stephanie and a young girl, Erin (Darby Camp), to remain stuck in a hospital corridor.

Grey's Anatomy: Every Reason We Have to Believe Cristina Will Return

1 May 2017 9:00 AM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

How has Grey's Anatomy managed to survive without badass cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Cristina Yang for the last three seasons? Well, the popular medical drama has devoted quite some time to exploring Meredith's often precarious yet devoted sisterly bonds to Maggie and Amelia. As much as we love this new dynamic, there's no one quite like Mer's unapologetic soul sister - or "person," as Mer puts it. From the pilot episode to Cristina's departure in season 10, Meredith and Cristina grow together, rising through the ranks from clueless interns to fearless attendings as they support each other through the worst of times. And we really do mean the worst of times: shootings, plane crashes, you name it. Last Summer, Sandra Oh, the talented actress behind Cristina, sparked some hope in Grey's fans. She tweeted a picture with her Grey's Anatomy ex-husband Kevin McKidd, who plays trauma surgeon Dr. Owen Hunt, and former Grey's Anatomy screenwriter Tony Phelan. »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Ellen Pompeo on Female Directors, Motherhood and Politics

After 13 seasons, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo made her directorial debut on this week’s episode of the long-running medical drama.

What took so long? Well, Pompeo is busy.

She’s been at the top of the call sheet on the ABC juggernaut since its premiere in 2005, and she balances leading “Grey’s Anatomy” with her other full time job: being a mother to three young children at home.

“I’m already there really a lot of hours. Directing is even more hours. The idea of spending more time there really has never appealed to me. So basically that’s it,” Pompeo tells Variety when asked why she waited until the middle of Season 13 to sit in the director’s chair. She adds, “As far as creativity on ‘Grey’s,’ you’re kind of trapped in a hospital and there’s only so much you can do, so I wasn’t that excited about it creatively »

Who's got the best jokes? Check out all the fun Grey's Anatomy trivia we picked up below. "Calzona" is Jessica Capshaw's favorite couple name. Capshaw was asked about her favorite couple's "ship" name during the panel, and it's no surprise that she picked the love between Callie and Arizona. She might be a little biased, seeing as she said, "I think I have to go with Calzona, right?" Sex is Debbie Allen's favorite part of being on the show. »

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Is Meredith Grey about to get some love on Grey’s Anatomy?

On Thursday’s episode, titled “Till I Hear It From You,” a chipper Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) discusses her romantic dilemma with Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson), whom she called an “arrogant a**,” during a car ride to the airport with her pal, Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).

Last we left off with Meredith and Nathan, he asked her to consider whether she wanted to pursue a real relationship with him. And Meredith, ever so romantically challenged, didn’t exactly decide yes or no -- leaving her to wonder if she shouldn’t be so picky “about great sex.”

T2 Trainspotting. 2017

Directed by Danny Boyle.

Starring Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner, Anjela Nedyalkova, James Cosmo, Irvine Welsh, Eileen Nicholas, Kevin McKidd, and Kelly Macdonald.

After 20 years abroad, Mark Renton returns to Scotland and reunites with his old friends Sick Boy, Spud, and Begbie.

Does the world of cinema need a sequel to Trainspotting? Maybe, maybe not; it’s not something worth getting caught up in or debating over because at the end of the day, Academy-Award-winning director Danny Boyle’s (who also helmed the original masterpiece based off of the novel of the same name by Irvine Welsh, and has an ever-growing impressive resume of classic films consisting of Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours to name a few) 20 years later window into the lives of these addiction fueled, irresistibly watchable characters is another hyperactively directed, stylish, and hypnotic romp through the Scottish junkie lifestyle. »

Grey's Anatomy Photo Preview: War Of The Hunts!

On Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 17, Owen and Amelia have to work together on a trauma case. It wouldn't be an issue if they were on good terms.

After finally coming face-to-face with one another on Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 15, it was evident that the pair had a lot to discuss, but they haven't quite gotten around to that yet.

Does this mean that they'll be bickering while working on a case together? Afterall, Owen still doesn't know the state of their relationship because Amelia still hasn't returned home.

Elsewhere, Stephanie and Andrew are the residents of the week, working on a case with Owen. Will they be allowed to take the lead?

"Till I Hear It From You" is directed by Kevin McKidd.

We can also expect the return of Diane Pearce, more relationship drama between Meredith and Nathan, and Bailey trying to make amends with Richard.
