NEW YORK -- Interactive program guide firm Gemstar-TV Guide International announced three executive departures Friday. The News Corp.-controlled company said Ian Aaron, president of the TV Guide Television Group, has resigned, and Doug Macrae, president of TV Guide Consumer Electronics, is retiring. Both changes are effective immediately. In addition, Gemstar said executive vp administration Gloria Dickey will leave the firm at an unspecified time. Michael McKee, chief operating officer of the consumer electronics unit, will run that division on an interim basis, Gemstar said in a statement. Meanwhile, Rich Battista, who took the CEO reins at Gemstar in December, will oversee the firm's Television Group on an interim basis.
