  • (January 27 to February 27, 1999) He directed the musical, "Once on This Island," at the Actors Theatre of Louisville (Mainstage) in Louisville, Kentucky with Erick Pinnick (Daniel); Roz White (Erzulie, Goddess of Love); Gayle Turner (Mama Euralie); Kenya Brome (Ti Mourne); Kimberly Harris (Asaka, Mother of Earth); Margot Adams (Little Ti Moune); Gregory Green (Armand); J. Lucas Harmann (Agwe, God of Water); Heather Brown (Andrea); Sean P. Walters (Pape Ge, Demon of Death) and Tim Johnson (Tonton Julian) in the cast. Lynn Ahrens wrote the books and lyrics. The musical was based on Rosa Guy's novel "My Love, My Love". Stephen Flaherty was composer.

Darryel Cotten played Percussion. Gary Falk played tenor saxophone and clarinet. Andy Mill played trumpet. Jon Topy played the Trombone. Tyrone Wheeler played the Bass.
