The CW has announced the dates for its next major “Arrowverse” crossover.
At an executive session during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, CW president Mark Pedowitz revealed that the four-show crossover will begin on Monday, Nov. 27. The crossover will begin with “Supergirl” and followed by “Arrow,” which will be moving to Monday night from it’s usual Thursday time slot for the four-part story. The crossover will wrap up on Tuesday, Nov. 28 with “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”
“Last year’s crossover was the most successful week, I believe, in CW history,” Pedowitz said. “We felt that in this particular case we already had ‘Flash’ and ‘Legends’ paired. It would be better and tighter to do it like a two, two-hour mini series.”

A new trailer debuted for the third season of The CW’s superhero series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow debuted at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, while it was also revealed at the panel that Wentworth Miller, Arthur Darvill, and Neal McDonough are set to reprise their roles as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Rip Hunter, and Damien Darhk when the show returns this October; take a look at the new trailer below…
After the defeat of Eobard Thawne and his equally nefarious Legion of Doom, the Legends face a new threat created by their actions at the end of last season. In revisiting a moment in time that they had already participated in, they have essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms – a scattering of people, animals, and objects all across time! By now, you’ve probably seen countless memes lampooning Barry Allen for his constant messing with the timeline over on The Flash, but if anyone is supremely guilty of doing such a thing, it’s most definitely the Waverider crew on Legends of Tomorrow. I mean, for a group tasked with fixing “time aberrations,” you’d think they wouldn’t kill people in the past all the freaking time. Thus, it surprises none of us that they “broke time” in the season 2 finale.
As we can see from the footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con, the gang will do their best to rectify that mistake. But according to executive producer Phil Klemmer, this will be a marathon, not a sprint:
“We won’t fix time immediately but we’ll see how dinosaurs in Los Angeles happened. Last season, Legends were the only game in town. Now, Rip Hunter has constituted »

After rolling a new Season 3 trailer out at the top of the Warner Bros. panel, “Legends of Tomorrow” executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Phil Klemmer took the Comic-Con stage with cast members Tala Ashe, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Victor Garber, and Franz Drameh.
Here’s what we learned: Guggenheim explained, “We won’t fix time immediately but we’ll see how dinosaurs in Los Angeles happened.” Klemmer added, “Last season, Legends were the only game in town. Now, Rip Hunter has constituted a new version of what Time Hunters are. Now, Legends are up against the best and brightest.”
About villains fans can expect in the new season, Klemmer teased, “We want to lean into that collection of villains from various DC shows, perhaps some non-human villains.” Guggenheim added, “We’re bringing Colassa from the CW Seed series onto the show and the inevitable confrontation between Maisie and her granddaughter.”

In other casting news, original cast member Arthur Darvill will return as Rip Hunter but as a recurring guest star. Watch for Rip to butt heads with the time-tinkering Legends as the boss of the newly formed Time Bureau.

The “Arrow” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday also announced that fan-favorite guest star David Nykl, who plays Oliver’s Russian friend-turned-nemesis Anatoly Knyazev, will also be returning for Season 6. "You a cop?" "Not exactly." Screen Gems has unveiled the first official trailer for a film titled Proud Mary, starring the always awesome Taraji P. Henson as an assassin. This is slated for release in early January, which is never a good sign, but I'm hopeful for something entertaining. We don't know much about this, except that Henson meets a young boy on a hit gone wrong and she decides to watch over him. The full cast includes Neal McDonough, Danny Glover, Xander Berkeley, Billy Brown, Margaret Avery, Jahi Di'Allo Winston, and Owen Burke. This is a very fun, clever trailer, without much dialogue in it (yet), relying entirely on the music, visuals, and some kick ass action. Damn! I'm looking forward to this already. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Babak Najafi's Proud Mary, originally from Buzzfeed: In the film, Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson is Mary, »

Gabrielle Union will pull double duty on the upcoming feature “Breaking In,” which she will both star in and produce. Production is slated to begin in Los Angeles this July. The project is the confluence of a script by Ryan Engle and an original pitch courtesy of Jaime Primak. Union is attached to play the lead, a woman attempting to protect her family during a home invasion. James McTeigue (“V for Vendetta”) will helm as director. Casting for the film is at the hands of Nancy Nayor, who has previously headed casting on “Before I Fall” and the currently-in-production “Proud Mary,” which stars heavy hitters Taraji P. Henson and Neal McDonough. In addition to Union, Will Packer will produce via Will Packer Productions (which produces the Bet series “Being Mary Jane,” on which Union currently stars), as well as James Lopez and Practical Pictures' Craig Perry and Sheila Taylor. »

Chicago – Of the pop culture gatherings in the Chicagoland area, nothing provides the sheer fun of today’s comic-inspired TV shows and movies like “Heroes & Villains Fest” and “Walker Stalker Con.” Not only is there an opportunity to meet the performers who star in the shows and movies, but the H&V Fest is also an interactive hero experience, with zip lines, obstacle course and safe archery, and is paired with Walker Stalker Con, which has a horror, sci-fi and fantasy theme. TV shows like “Gotham,” “Arrow,” “Agents of Shield,” “The Walking Dead” and movies like “Superman Returns,” “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Hellboy” will all be represented. The next H&V/Walker Stalker event is March 25th and and 26th, 2017, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. (detail link below).

The Legion Of Doom is the best episode of Legends of Tomorrow this season, and possibly its best ever.
This Legends of Tomorrow review contains spoilers.
2.10 The Legion Of Doom
Usually it takes me until the last third of an episode to start writing it up, but The Legion Of Doom started so well that I couldn’t hold back. From the opening to the first commercial, I must have written at least eight lines in all caps:
Darhk Does The Intro! That’S New! And The Legion Is Bickering And Infighting! This Is Perfect! Or Oh Shit, That’S How They’Re Gonna Deal With Lily!
This episode was pure fanservice from the very beginning, and I loved every second of it.
