  • MovieWeb
Disney's highly-anticipated sequel Frozen 2 started production at the end of September, with star Josh Gad sending out the first Frozen 2 photo from the recording booth, along with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, along with producer Peter Del Vecho. There haven't been an updates since then, but with Josh Gad promoting his new film Murder on the Orient Express, the actor revealed an interesting tidbit of information in a new interview, revealing that Disney has kept the full sequel script from him. Here's what he had to say below.

"I don't want to spoil anything but Olaf only lasts for the first act. I'm kidding. Disney has kept all of it from me. They're gonna give me pieces of dialogue out of context because I have a big mouth."

While Frozen 2 is still more than two years out, fans will get to see their favorite Frozen characters

Jack Black’s Best Character is Augie in “Airborne” and It’s Not Even Close

There’s only one character in Jack Black’s career that can hold a candle to Augie in Airborne and that’s the hippy singer he played in the movie Biodome (which was actually the band Tenacious D that brought him his initial fame). For those of you who don’t know the 1993 classic Airborne it’s the tale of young Mitchell, a California surfer kid who has to move to Cincinnati. When his parents go to Australia for six months to work on a zoology project, Mitchell (Shane McDermott) is sent to live with his Aunt Irene (Edie McClurg) and Uncle Louie (Patrick

Blu-ray Review: Carrie (1976) Collector’s Edition

  • DailyDead
Released 40 years ago today, Brian De Palma’s 1976 adaptation of Stephen King’s debut novel Carrie remains a masterpiece of modern horror. It is a teenage pop nightmare of a film, a dreamy exploration of horrors both real and supernatural. Expertly directed, gorgeously photographed and acted with total sincerity by a cast of then-newcomers, it remains one of the very best King adaptations despite being first out of the gate.

Know how I know De Palma’s Carrie is a brilliant adaptation and one of the best horror movies ever made? Because other filmmakers have tried adapting it three other times across three other decades: Katt Shea in 1999 (with The Rage: Carrie 2, basically a Carrie remake and the best of the lot), David Carson for SyFy in 2002 and, most recently, Kimberly Pierce in 2013. None of them come close to touching the 1976 original.

From its famous opening sequence, in which

Bluray Review: Carrie (1976)

Scream Factory over the last couple years has become a household name for horror fans and collectors of physical media. Creating “collector’s editions” of cult favorites like Ginger Snaps and Psycho 2 helped build a reputation of putting out movies for the real fans who often feel ignored and spend absurds amount of money to get a poor quality extended cut of Nightbreed. One of my favorite thing about these releases is that the movies were often released so many years ago that those involved with the productions share juicy stories of problematic productions and what made them unhappy with the end results. Sometimes though there is online backlash when a fan feels Scream Factory let them down by not including some kind of extra feature on one of their releases. An example was when they announced the final details of the complete box set of all the Halloween movies.

Charlie Sheen Brings 'Ferris Bueller' Role to 'Goldbergs'
Ever since The Goldbergs debuted on ABC last year, the hit comedy series, which is set in the 1980s, has referenced several hit movies and TV shows, such as Star Wars, Say Anything, The Goonies and an episode from earlier this month that involves the hoverboard from Back to the Future Part II. People reports that the show will continue that tradition in the second half of Season 2, with an upcoming Ferris Bueller's Day Off episode that will guest star Charlie Sheen, paying homage to his role as "Boy in Police Station." The first photos have been released from this episode, set to air in early 2015, which shows Charlie Sheen interacting with Hayley Orrantia's Erica.

The episode will follow Barry (Troy Gentile), who decides to skip school one day to create his own epic "day off." Barry's plans go severely awry, and when Pops (George Segal) and Adam (Sean Giambrone

Here's How Robin Williams Changed TV

  • Moviefone
Much has been said since Robin Williams' death on Monday of his contribution to movies. Certainly, his performances in such films as "Aladdin," "Mrs. Doubtfire," and "Good Will Hunting" are likely to endear him to new fans among moviegoers for generations to come. But it's easy to forget that he also made indelible contributions to the world of TV throughout his four-decade career. Older viewers remember his starmaking turn as a lovable alien on "Mork and Mindy," but that was only one instance of many where he changed the medium in ways large and small that will continue to be felt for a long time to come. Here are some of those ways.

"The Richard Pryor Show." Imagine an era when you could have seen Richard Pryor and Robin Williams doing sketch comedy together every week in primetime. That era really happened; it lasted just four weeks in 1977. That's

‘Frozen’ Blu-ray Review

Stars: Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Santino Fontana, Alan Tudyk, Edie McClurg | Written and Directed by Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee

Loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen and apparently inspired by the scenery of Norway, Frozen is the tale of a pair of royal sisters, the reclusive Elsa (Idina Menzel), who has X-Men-style ice powers and Anna (Kristen Bell), who is slightly dippy and outgoing. When Elsa accidentally reveals her wacky mutant talent at her own coronation to a shocked general public, she runs away into the wilderness and ensconces herself in a quickly whipped-up fortress of solitude, in a scene not dissimilar to Dr Manhattan’s construction of his Martian palace in Watchmen. Anna, with grumpy ice salesman Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), his reindeer Sven and a living snowman called Olaf (Josh Gad) give chase to try and bring her home and sort everything out.
