The moment finally arrived! After weeks of speculation as to who would be attending, who was not invited and who all begged to be invited the rumours were finally set to rest last night when the who’s who of the industry gathered to bring in KJo’s 40th year in style! Organised and customised completely by bestie Manish Malhotra, the bash was held at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. The details of this lavish affair is a topic in itself however for now I take the pleasure of digging into the glamorous appearances of the ladies on the red carpet (yes we’re rather conveniently ignoring the men!). You’ve gotta love it when a B-Town party isn’t a hush-hush affair!

In his directorial debut, Paul McCartney has created an artistic, black and white short film to his song My Valentine that audiences will get to enjoy before all showings of The Intouchables for the duration of its theatrical run. You can also check it out here.

The Weinstein Company (TWC) will release The Intouchables in theaters on May 25. The three minute short film, which came to fruition following an original idea by Stella McCartney, stars Academy Award winner Natalie Portman and Golden Globe winner Johnny Depp.
Natalie Portman, who was exclusively dressed by Stella McCartney for the film, and Johnny Depp translate the lyrics of the song through sign language throughout the film each with their own distinct interpretations, and Johnny Depp adds soul midway through the film with a guitar solo, which was recorded live.

The last time we saw Cameron Diaz at a What To Expect When You’re Expecting shindig, was in L.A., and she was rocking a tiny semi-sheer Valentino mini dress. Perfection. Then she flew across the pond, and inadvertently, took on one of the U.K’s own superstars in the style stakes. We’re talking about Cheryl Cole, who attended the London premiere of the film last night and wore white, just like Cameron did. While both of them wore the same color, and look like best pals in all of the photographs we see of them together, they did wear completely different silhouettes.

These things aren't exactly scientific, but Kim Kardashian has been named the "Hottest Woman in the World" by the U.K.'s Zoo magazine.
The honor of "hottest woman" was bestowed on the reality star by the magazine's readers. The 31-year-old, who is currently in London to launch her latest fragrance, appears on the cover of the magazine in nothing more than red satin lingerie.
Kim's latest beau, Kanye West, was also in London this past week, to perform, and that gave Kim the opportunity to hang with some serious A-list stars. London's Dstrkt club was the location for Kanye and Jay-z's "Watch the Throne" after-party on Sunday night. Jay-z's famous friends Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin came to party, as did designer Stella McCartney.

London's Dstrkt club was the spot for Jay-z and Kanye West's star-studded Watch the Throne afterparty last night. The rappers performed at the O2 Arena before meeting up with their famous friends to celebrate. Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin came out for the bash as did their pal Stella McCartney. Gwyneth and Chris's kids Apple and Moses got in on the fun earlier when they watched the concert with their mom. Rihanna also stepped out to party during an especially exciting weekend since her Battleship hit theaters on Friday. London, May 17: Fashion Designer Stella McCartney has designed the players' kit for British participants at the London Olympics, and it has been inspired by the nation's Union Jack flag.

The annual Met Gala in NYC on Monday night didn't disappoint, with famous faces from the big and small screens, the music industry, and the fashion world all stepping out in their finest. Carey Mulligan, one of the evening's hosts, showed up in a metallic Prada frock in honor of the exhibit, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. Diane Kruger also chose a gown by Prada, as did Gwyneth Paltrow. Cameron Diaz showed off her green credentials by wearing a dress made of organic silk to New York's annual Costume Institute Gala on Monday.
The actress agreed to wear the gown, designed by Stella McCartney, to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's glitzy Met Ball as part of Colin Firth's wife Livia's Green Carpet Challenge (Gcc).
In her Vogue.com blog, Livia writes, "They don't come more dazzling than Ms Cameron Diaz who last night joined the Green Carpet Challenge at the Met Ball wearing Stella McCartney.
"This glittering dress was made from organic silk in collaboration with the Gcc. On to this, Stella added thousands of beautiful glass beads and crystal chain, which gave us a new challenge for the future as we work on traceability and sourcing embellished materials. After the insight we've had with fairtrade and traceable jewellery and gemstones, this is something I can't wait to get started on!
