It was during Afm when we showed you the art for S.J. Evans’ horror film Dead of the Nite, featuring your first look at genre favorite Tony Todd, and now we have a higher res version and even a release date for you! Read on for details.

Dead of the Nite is an intelligent twist on the paranormal genre including horror icons Tony Todd (Candyman, Hatchet, The Rock), Simon Bamford (Hellraiser, Nightbreed), and Suzie Lorraine (Roxanna, Torment, Destined to be Ingested).

Tagline: "Death Follows Those Who Seek It." Indie horror title Dead of the Nite has recently been picked up by Acort International for distribution. A release date is yet to be announced. Though, the DVD art, featuring actor Tony Todd (Candyman), has been revealed. As well, a trailer for this film was also launched last month. Dead of the Nite stars Suzi Lorraine (Bikini Girls on Ice), Joseph Millson (Casino Royale), Cicely Tennant and Gary Mavers. The film is shot partially in film footage style. Several ghost hunters head out to an ancient manor to discover the paranormal. They find something more fatalistic instead. The slaughter begins in the bowels of Jericho Manor. Acort International, one of the top distributors of independent films in the global marketplace, has recently acquired S.J. Evans’ horror film Dead of the Nite for international and Us distribution. Read on for details.

Distribution plans are currently under consideration and will include a North American DVD on the indie-horror label Midnight Releasing and a cable/satellite/internet VOD run as well as being showcased at this year’s 2013 American Film Market.

Dead of the Nite is an intelligent twist on the paranormal genre including horror icons Tony Todd (Candyman, Hatchet, The Rock), Simon Bamford (Hellraiser, Nightbreed), and Suzie Lorraine (Roxanna, Torment, Destined to be Ingested).

The first trailer and poster for upcoming Welsh horror Dead of the Nite have been released in all of their gory glory, showcasing a cast comprising genre icons Tony Todd (Candyman, Hatchet), who makes his British film debut, Simon Bamford (Hellraiser, Nightbreed) and Suzi Lorraine (Torment).

Dead of the Nite, the first production from Welsh company Dark Arts Films, Ltd., is written and directed by Sj Evans, who made his feature debut to critical acclaim with the 2010 documentary Tattoos: A Scarred History.
