Robin Mattson was born on June 1, 1956 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an actress, known for Santa Barbara (1984), Phantom of the Paradise (1974) and General Hospital (1963). She has been married to Werner Roth since June 3, 2006. She was previously married to Ray Manzella.

In 1997, she wrote her own cookbook: Soap Opera Cafe: the Skinny on Food From a Daytime Star. She dedicated it to the person who helped her realize she had a passion for cooking, her father, Paul Mattson.
Daytime soap actress for nearly three decades, usually plays scheming blondes.
Although she has appeared on numerous daytime soap operas and dramas, she has never created a role on any of them herself.
When not performing, she enjoys skiing and ice skating as well as gardening and decorating.
From June of 1996 until March of 1997, she had her own cooking show on the Lifetime network called The Main Ingredient.
