Sonequa Martin-Green is venturing into a whole new world of pop culture fandom with her starring role in Star Trek: Discovery, and the actress says her time on The Walking Dead taught her everything she needs to know about handling the attention.
"I've been calling my time on Walking Dead my sort of post-graduate degree," Martin-Green told Et's Cameron Mathison at the CBS TCA party in Los Angeles on Tuesday. "I learned so much about being on a show that has such a massive reach."

The 39-year-old actress is reportedly pregnant with her first child, according to multiple reports. An insider tells E! News, who first reported the story, that the baby news was an "unexpected surprise," but as for her production schedules, it will be business as usual for the writer-actress.
In a recent interview with Yahoo Style, Kaling talked about the possibility of being a mom one day and who would be the father. "I think I've decided that unlike everything else in my life, I'm going to be fast and loose about kids," she said. "I'm not cavalier about who I would have a kid with. ABC’s revival of “Battle of the Network” stars has set 20 teams of five celebrities each to compete in the upcoming season, the network announced Monday.
Stars from shows such as “Modern Family,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Scandal,” “Melrose Place,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “The Goldbergs,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “The West Wing,” “Dallas,” “CHiPs,” “Law & Order” and many more will take part in the throwback to the classic series from the 1970’s.
The 10-episode season will pit teams of current and classic TV stars from multiple eras and different genres against one another in a variety of athletic games, like Tug of War, Archery, Kayak Relay, Obstacle Course, and Dunk Tank. The series will premiere June 29 at 9 p.m.

“Are you trying to do my job?” he asked his son.
Eric replied, “Yes,” and when his dad asked what he did, Eric proceeded to press the big red button in front of him multiple times.
“That is my job!” Cowell declared.

Et's Cameron Mathison sat down with Cowell at his Beverly Hills, California, home earlier this month, where he opened up about how Banks became host of America's Got Talent after Nick Cannon's exit earlier this year.
"We started with no host. Then one of us got a phone call saying Tyra Banks was interested. So I told her, 'Come over to the house tomorrow,'" he recalled. "She turns out, ripped jeans, not really any makeup, sat down and within five minutes, we literally all said, 'We would love you to join the show.'"

Charlie's Angels is heading to the big screen -- again!
Elizabeth Banks will take on directing duties for the upcoming adaptation, which is scheduled to hit theaters in summer 2019, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Though the lucky ladies who will be playing the Angels have yet to be revealed, there's one person who likely won't be slipping into those shoes.
