Alison Sweeney is leaving NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” Variety has confirmed.

Sweeney will not be present for the hit weight loss reality competition’s 17th season, which begins shooting this September.

“After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of ‘The Biggest Loser’ next season,” producers of the series told Access Hollywood in a statement on Tuesday.

Sweeney began hosting the show in 2007 with Season 4, and has been at the helm each season since. Prior, Caroline Rhea (“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”) was host.

In addition to her hosting duties on “Biggest Loser,” Sweeney is best known for playing Sami Brady on long-running soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” which she departed in 2014, after more than two decades. However, she will return for the soap’s 50th anniversary this November.

Besides the “Days” anniversary special, up next, Sweeney will star in Hallmark Channel’s “Love On the Air” on Sept. »

Don't ask Miley Cyrus to spell boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger's last name.

In a new interview with Good Morning America about her new Mac Cosmetics' Viva Glam campaign, the 22-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer has no shame when it comes to not being able to spell her man's admittedly complicated last name.

"Literally, I just had this conversation. I can't even tell you," she tells Gma correspondent Cameron Mathison when he asks her to spell Schwarzenegger. "Apparently there's not a 'T' in it."

Miley and Patrick, 21, have been dating for about two months now. The pair first went public in November during a college football game between the Cal Golden Bears and the USC Trojans -- Patrick attends USC – when they showed some serious Pda.

The couple is obviously still going strong past the holidays, spotted on vacation in Hawaii just last weekend looking more enamored with one another »
