Prior to his progression into the film and television industry, Mr. Mastromauro spent 9 years (1988 to 1997) on Wall Street working for Oppenheimer & Co. as a Senior V.P. on the institutional trading desk.

In 2001 Mr. Mastromauro produced several award winning short films, including "Gameday" and "The Circle." In 2002 he went on to oversee Peter Sahagan's Ardustry Entertainment as the Executive Vice President. In doing so, Mr. Mastromauro targeted the former Unapix Entertainment library, consisting of over 600 film and television titles, and was ultimately instrumental in the overall acquisition. This acquisition triggered the formation of Ardustry Home Entertainment (AHE), which is now Allumination Filmworks (AF). AF is now a recognized distribution company in the world of independent film and television production. On the creative front, Mastromauro produced two feature films: King of the Corner, which stars Peter Riegert, Isabella Rossellini, Rita Moreno and Eric Bogosian, and The Orphan King starring Bill Pullman, Chris Evans and Alexis Bledel.

In 2004 Anthony Mastromauro branched out to start Identity Films an independent production banner. Thus far Identity has produced two feature films, the most recent being Artie Lange's Beer League co-written by Frank Sebastiano and Artie Lange and directed by Sebastiano. Beer League was distributed by Echo Bridge Entertainment theatrically, as well as for home video and television. The second feature is titled Moonlight Serenade which stars Amy Adams, Alec Newman, Harriett Sansom Harris and Scott Cohen, and will be distributed by Magnolia Entertainment.
