As I approach the stage my heart pounds like it’s going to rip right out of my chest. The room seems huge at first, but starts to get smaller as I walk down the stairs. My heart pumps faster, I can almost taste it ... just then I hear my dad’s voice, ”Just drink a Red Bull and smile." I definitely do not need a Red Bull at this moment. But I do need to smile and remember to have fun. Even though this is an elimination show, I have already won. The worst thing that can happen after you get eliminated is you go to Jimmy Kimmel -- not such a bad consolation prize if you think about it. But I’m not planning on going home anytime soon ... I hope! I hear our introduction and the music starts. Everything you’ve learned with regard to technique and »

What do Sarah Silverman, Jackie Mason, Bob Costas, and the late Eartha Kitt have in common?

They are all going to be guest voices on the upcoming season of The Simpsons.

In the season premiere episode, comedian Seth Rogen will be the voice of a celebrity fitness trainer with the difficult task of trying to get Homer Simpson into shape. Rogen is also a co-writer for that episode.

Speaking of difficult tasks, it can't be easy being Bart Simpson's new girlfriend. The talented Sarah Silverman will be voicing that role.

Jackie Mason will be returning as the voice of Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky, the father of Krusty the Clown. Mason won an Emmy for this role in 1992. Krusty, meanwhile, will fall in love with an actress on his show, voiced by Anne Hathaway.

Jackie Mason, Humorless Obama-Hater

8 July 2009 8:27 AM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

Jackie Mason appears to have traded his career as a legendary comedian for one as a professional Obama-hater for right-wing website WorldNetDaily. Certainly, Mason has forsaken his humor for venom -- asserting that Obama has "plans to destroy America" and "can't tolerate the thought of the word of religion in his presence." Mason has also said that Nancy Pelosi "looks like a deranged pig in heat." Mason has been a right-winger for some time -- in 2004, for instance, Mason called "the whole Muslim religion" a "murderous organization" that teaches "hate, terrorism and murder." Apparently approving of such statements, Wnd began running a column by Mason and his partner, Raoul Felder, in 2007 (a column that previously appeared at the right-wing Jewish World Review website). In their first Wnd column, Mason and Felder appeared to be channeling far-right radio host Michael Savage »

Mason Lands In Racism Row

15 March 2009 6:50 PM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Veteran comedian Jackie Mason has landed in hot water, after using an allegedly racist term to describe U.S. President Barack Obama during a performance in New York.

At least one member of the audience at Feinstein's on Friday night walked out after Mason called Obama a "schwartza", a Yiddish term for black person.

Mason's use of the word has sparked a row over whether it's an offensive term - but the comedian is refusing to back down.

The 72-year-old tells TMZ.com, "I'm an old Jew. I was raised in a Jewish family where 'schwartza' was used. It's not a demeaning word and I'm not going to defend myself.

"Chris Rock has told a lot more jokes about whites than I have against blacks. What about the demeaning words blacks say about Jews?

"If it's a racist society, the white people are the ones being persecuted because they have to defend themselves." »
