Millicent Martin was born on June 8, 1934 in Romford, Essex, England as Millicent Mary Lillian Martin. She is an actress, known for Alfie (1966), Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont (2005) and From a Bird's Eye View (1970). She has been married to Marc Alexander since 1978. She was previously married to Norman Eshley and Ronnie Carroll.

Hit #104 on the Billboard Singles Charts in 1963 with "In the Summer of His Years" (ABC-Par. 10514), which was taken from the BBC-TV tribute to John F. Kennedy.
Was twice nominated for Broadway's Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) Tony Award: in 1977 for "Side by Side by Sondheim" and in 1979 for "King of Hearts".
In 1971 she released the Swedish-language vinyl single "Om du nånsin skulle ändra dej/Sommardröm" ("If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind / Summer Dream") in Sweden only.
Once trained with Olympic divers.
Probably, most recognized in the U.S.A. for her reoccurring role on the hit television series Fraiser where she portrayed Gertrude Moon the raucous mother of Jane Leeves character Daphne Moon. Seasons 7 and 8(2000 & 2001).
