The rebellion continues! The Star Wars Rebels TV show has been renewed for a fourth season on Disney Xd. There's some late breaking exciting news for Star Wars fans Friday evening that you'll want to hear before heading off to Tosche Station to pick up some more power converters.

Lucasfilm and The Cartoon Network have officially renewed Star Wars Rebels for a fourth season. That means more of the Ghost crew and their adventures battling the Empire are on the way.

The Star Wars Rebels Season Three ensemble voice cast includes Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, Dee Bradley Baker, David Oyelowo, Forest Whitaker, Sam Witwer, Tom Baker and Lars Mikkelsen.

It's entirely possible that one or more of these characters won't survive into Season 4 as Season 3 is still playing out. It's also entirely possible that lost characters like fan favorite Ahsoka Tano may yet return.

Dave Filoni has been chatting about Star Wars Rebels season 4, and the ships, characters and planets we should expect...

Just a quick update here on what to expect in Star Wars Rebels season 4. Following the dramatic conclusion to season 3, producer Dave Filoni has teased what's coming next on the Rebels Recon YouTube series.

Season 4 will apparently feature the return of Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma, with Filoni promising we'll get to see "much more of an insight into seeing how that relationship breaks down and breaks apart”.

We'll also get to visit Mandalore, Sabine's home planet which featured a lot in the Clone Wars animated show. "The longer we’ve gone with this series, the more it just has occurred to me that Rebels really is, in a lot of ways, going to finish Clone Wars," Feloni explained.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy season 2 to premiere in March with an Avengers team-up

2017 is shaping up to be a big year for Guardians of the Galaxy fans. We’ve got Marvel Studios’ hotly-anticipated sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to look forward to, along with Telltale’s video game, and now we can add the second season of the Disney Xd animated series to that list.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy season two will premiere with a one-hour double-bill on March 11th at 9pm Est/Pst, as the Guardians team up with The Avengers. Before then, we’ll also be getting six animated shorts, which will drop daily from February 27th on the Disney Xd app, VOD and YouTube.
