William Marlowe was born on July 25, 1932 in London, England. He was an actor, known for The Gentle Touch (1980), The Snow Goose (1971) and The Heroes of Telemark (1965). He was married to Kismet Delgado and Catherine Schell. He died in February 2003 in Carmarthen, Wales.

Ex-brother-in-law of Hildegard Knef and Paul von Schell.
In 1968 he met his second wife, Katherina von Schell (the actress Catherine Schell), on the set of Amsterdam Affair (1968).
Dark-haired, RADA-trained British character actor with noticeably pock-marked countenance. Often on screen as police officers or military men, or, occasionally, as lead villain (eg Guy of Gisbourne, in The Legend of Robin Hood (1975)). Had a recurring role as a chief inspector in The Gentle Touch (1980). Originally aspired to a career as a writer.
Military service in the Fleet Air Arm.
