She played Spirit of the Lake in Clifford Mills, John Ramsay, and Roger Quilter's play, "Where the Rainbow Ends," performed as a ballet at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England Anton Dolin (St. George), Claude Hulbert and Winifred Shotter in the cast. Leighton Lucas was the conductor. Anton Dolin was also director.

In 1935, she co-founded the Markova-Dolin Ballet, the first of several companies which led to the foundation of Festival Ballet, now known as English National Ballet.
