Los Angeles, California (X17online) - Before the sequel to Jackass 3D hits theaters, new stunts from the 3.5 film will be released weekly online, beginning March 2011. At the Jacksass 3D premiere in October, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera and Steve-o revealed that enough footage had been shot to make a sequel to their mega-hit film. Thomas Lesinski, President of Paramount Digital Entertainment revealed, "When the Jackass guys went to make Jackass 3D, we proposed that we shoot a follow up to the successful Jackass 2.5 digital feature alongside it, and everyone was up for it. In Jackass 3.5, you are going to see an entire movie’s worth of new stunts, new pranks and new gags, on whatever screen you choose." Since it's October release, Jackass 3D has raked in over $155 million to date. »
As we reported last month, there was enough unused footage from Jackass 3D to create a new movie and Johnny Knoxville and company plan to do exactly that. Paramount plans to release Jackass 3.5 in March 2011 through digital release. According to the press release, the plan is to have “New stunts and antics from Jackass 3.5 released online weekly and then packaged together as a feature length film distributed digitally followed by other platforms including home video. The press release doesn’t mention the pricing for the weekly segments or the total package. It also doesn’t specify which digital platforms will get the film (e.g. iTunes, Xbox Live, etc.).

Last year's The Hangover was an unexpected, unpredictable delight, but Phillips's follow-up is the exact opposite. Where The Hangover ran around in crazy loops, this travels down a long, straight, well-travelled road where you can see the obstacles and contrivances coming up a mile off. A shame since our odd couple are potentially great – Downey Jr the uptight straight man with a baby on the way; Galifianakis another memorable borderline-sociopath – and there are some laughs. But for every decent joke, there's an unfunny gross-out gag, a "surprise" twist or an unlikely escapade. It feels more like desperation rather than inspiration.

It should come as no surprise that within minutes of our meeting,Johnny Knoxville is talking about his penis. More precisely, how he broke his penis three years ago in a motorcycle stunt that went wrong. It's a war story the Jackass star has often told, so the gory details don't need repeating – suffice to say, he has to self-adminster a painful-sounding procedure twice daily that wouldn't look out of place in the latest Jackass movie.
The point, though, is that it's impossible to imagine having this sort of discussion with anyone else. Just as it's impossible to think of any other mainstream movie in which bodily fluids are liberally ejected and ingested, male nudity is so liberally on show, or the human body is so routinely and genuinely abused. The joke was »

Compare and Contrast:
“When movies got to the bottom of the barrel of their creativity and at the last gasp of their financial lifespan, they did a 3-D version to get the last few drops of blood out of the turnip. And that’s not what’s happening now with 3-D. It is a renaissance – right now the biggest and the best films are being made in 3-D” – James Cameron, Interview 2010
Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
The nation of France has given the world some of the most amazing cinema in the history of the medium care of the work of directors like Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut, Claude Chabrol, Louis Malle, Alain Resnais, Luc Besson and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. But that's not to say that they don't enjoy penis baseball, sweat suit cocktails, wave runner stunts and stun gun obstacle courses, which is why the fans came out in full force to the premiere of "Jackass 3D" at the Cinema Gaumont Opera in Paris. Crew frontman Johnny Knoxville glad-handed and signed autographs with the adoring fans who gathered at the theater, »

Sitting, waiting for Jackass 3D to start and watching people filter in, the first thing I noticed was that they were mainly men. No big surprises there I guess. The second thing that caught my eye was they were nearly all holding a plastic cup of lager. I started to worry that my Robinsons Fruit Shoot and Mars Bar wasn’t going to cut it and that I needed alcohol to make it watchable. Luckily this movie didn’t need liquid lubrication, although I don’t doubt it may have added extra levels of fun.
I should add a disclaimer to this review and say I’m not a crazy Jackass fan. Nor am I particular enamoured with slapstick comedy (unless it’s Charlie Chaplin) or puerile humour (unless it’s The Inbetweeners). Suffice it to say, I had a few reservations about the movie; particularly how it would affect my stomach. »

Reality TV stars Jesse James and Kat Von D are back in the news with their on-again off-again relationship. James, who was married to Sandra Bullock, and Kat, who was in a relationship with Nikki Sixx, are now seen in "cozy" confines at what was described as an intimate lunch Saturday. James, 41, and Von D, 28, dined at a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood, according to People. Rumors flew that James was no longer dating the star of "La Ink," as she was reported to be seeing her ex-boyfriend Nikki Sixx and even Jackass and Viva La Bam MTV star Bam Margera. For a couple who were rumored to have broken up, Jesse James and Kat Von D appeared awfully cozy at an intimate lunch Saturday. James, 41, and Von D, 28, turned up at El Compadre Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood, where they chatted and kissed at their table. It was the first public outing for the motorcycle mogul and the L.A. Ink star since split rumors started flying earlier this month after Von D was spotted getting close to ex-boyfriend Nikki Sixx and rumored former flame Bam Margera. In mid-October a source told People that Von D wasn't happy about James's having moved to Austin, »

And Knoxville is convinced the film's distributors Paramount would be able to turn around another movie in a small space of time - because of the sheer amount of footage they recorded on their 3D adventure.
He says, "We shot two movies' worth of footage. We have so many bits that we never even turned in to Paramount because we were so swamped with ideas - funny stuff. The bits were just coming out of us left and right." »
Los Angeles, California (X17online) - After Jackass 3-D became the the highest grossing movie for the month of October in just a single day, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Bam Margera, and the entire Jackass Crew may be back in theaters within a few short months. With so much extra footage left over from the first film, a sequel is reportedly in the works, and an official decision is likely to come down in the next few days, The Los Angeles Times reports. Johnny Knoxville reveals, "We shot two movies’ worth of footage...We have so many bits that we never even turned in to Paramount because we were so swamped with ideas — funny stuff. The bits were just coming out of us left and right." This is good news for Steve-o, who felt one of the film's best scenes was unfairly cut out of the first film. "How are you »

During our interview, Bam Margera mentioned a few alternate stunts that didn’t make the final cut. Appearing on Sirius Xm’s “Opie and Anthony Show,” Steve-o talked about physical abuse he suffered that was left on the cutting room floor. But he assured those listening that they’d get to see it in “Jackass 3.5,” the supplemental online feature that usually comes out a few months after a “Jackass” film makes its way through theaters.
Ah, but the prophetic Steve-o probably had no idea just how quickly that promise would become a reality … most likely because he could not have predicted how well “Jackass 3D” would do at the theaters on opening weekend.

Kat Von D reportedly dumped controversial boyfriend Jesse James after a few months and reports of getting closer to James' daughter. Apparently she's gotten back together with her ex-boyfriend, rock star Nikki Sixx.
"Kat used Jesse to win Nikki back, and it worked," a friend of Von D's told Life & Style magazine. "She also was using Jesse for the press."
Coincidentally, Von D is busy promoting both her new book and new season of her TV show, "L.A. Ink," and was spotted out with Sixx on Oct. 5 at the House of Blues in L.A.
Less than a week later, the tattoo artist was spotted with "Jackass" star (and rumored former flame) Bam Margera at Cleo restaurant. Margera is reportedly still married to Missy Rothstein, who he married in 2007, so the fact that he went to dinner with Von D might be a whole other story.

By now, perhaps, Johnny Knoxville and his "Jackass 3D" pals have recovered from their shenanigans — their gashes healed, their bruises no longer tender to the touch. If not, their movie's $50.4 million opening will certainly mask any lingering pain.
For now, at least. There's already talk of more "Jackass" to come, possibly with another flick culled from footage left on the cutting-room floor or an entirely new feature. Before Knoxville and the boys consider returning to the "Jackass" world, they have a slew of projects to wrap up.
