We all know how season five of Burn Notice concluded: with Fiona taking one for Michael and the team.
And now creator Matt Nix is giving viewers a clear idea of where season six will go: with Fiona remaining behind bars.
“We wanted to do an event that would have a real impact and serious, longer term repercussions," Nix told EW last week, stating simply about Fiona and the slammer: "She’s in there for a while and it’s a big deal."
Burn Notice Season 6 Promo
On the guest star front, meanwhile, it's already been confirmed that John C. McGinley and Taryn Manning will make appearances, while TV Line now reports that Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill) will portray a villainous loan shark on episode seven this summer.

It was another vampire wedding. (But this time without the Twilight stars.) Mercedes McNab, who played high school student-turned-bloodsucker Harmony Kendall on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997 to 2003), wed real estate developer Mark Henderson in La Paz, Mexico, on Saturday. "It's official!" the actress, who also starred on Buffy spin-off Angel until 2004, Tweeted, alongside a snapshot of the couple sharing a newlywed smooch. With about 80 people in attendance, including actress-singer Taryn Manning, McNab walked down the aisle at the CostaBaja resort wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown. The resort, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, was decked out with fuchsia orchids for McNab's big day. »

Peyton Manning hosted "Saturday Night Live" in 2007 and he was excellent. This was surprising. Athletes are usually not very good at hosting sketch comedy shows. (Apparently, when growing up, between those long summer two-a-days, athletes aren't trained on the finer points of hosting "SNL," you know, just in case.) But, Peyton Manning, for whatever reason, was terrific. This weekend, it was his brother Eli's turn, who can't just pass on his sibling's grades because life doesn't work like the movie "License to Drive." How was Eli? Alas, Eli wasn't as good as Peyton, but he certainly wasn't terrible. Let's go with the word "serviceable" for Manning -- a word that's a bit too strong when describing the overall quality of this week's show. (Also: I'm quite surprised that "Battleship" actor Rihanna didn't wind up in a sketch along the way.) Let's get to the Scorecard, shall we?

We've been away from our Hawai'ian heroes for a while, but the lag in new episodes has not affected the fun factor once they return. Back on, and keeping a mix of fun in with the procedure, Hawaii Five-0 brings us a wonderful episode filled with blasts from the past that are sure to make even the old-school Five-0 fans cheer. After all, you can't go wrong when you have Ed Asner, can you? What is an episode without our handsome heroes cavorting about in the waves? Steve (Alex O'loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) take a break to catch a few waves and then argue about surf etiquette, when Steve's wayward sister, Mary (Taryn Manning) shows up. She's professing to be an airline attendant now, on the straight and narrow, and you can bet that isn't going to last long with this girl. True to form, Mary finds herself arrested »

Apparently Ed Asner nailed his guest-starring turn on the original Hawaii Five-0 back in the 1970s, because the crime drama’s current CBS incarnation asked him back — some 36 years later — to reprise the very same role in tonight’s episode, airing at 10/9c.
But you’ll have to forgive the actor if the details of that 1975 gig, as a smuggler named August March, didn’t instantly come flooding back when he got the call.
“No, I didn’t retain what I had done then. It was one of hundreds of TV roles I’ve played,” the seven-time Emmy winner tells TVLine. »
