Bruce Manning (I) (1902–1965)

Trivia:

American novelist, who worked in collaboration with his wife Gwen Bristow. He was signed as a screenwriter by RKO in 1933 on the strength of their mystery novel, "The Invisible Host" (subsequently filmed as "The Ninth Guest"). He had a lengthier stint with Universal from 1936 to 1942, by which time Manning and Bristow had settled in California on a permanent basis.
