Ganesh Chaturthi in Bollywood is big. Like every year this year too the event was most prominently celebrated in the homes of the Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar and Salman Khan's place. Interestingly the two super-celebrities share one thing in common. A small cozy home from which they have refused to move out over the years in spite of their growing families and enhanced affluence. Lataji's 3-bedroom home in a high-rise building on Peddar Road becomes uncontrollably crowded during Ganesh Chaturvedi. "Every year it's an open house at Lata Didi's place in Prabhu Kunj. Guests just stream in for a darshan. Everyone also wants a glimpse of Lata didi. It becomes difficult for her to attend to every guest. But this year Didi is in her element. She is bustling all over the house, in her beautiful hand-made sarees, enjoying the company of guests and of course the sweets. Who would »

A pacy grace envelopes Kabir Khan’s new political thriller. You can almost smell the tension in the air. If Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a agreeable gentle cup of lemon tea Phantom is a the bracing percolating morning cup of coffee that makes you jump out of your bed and seize the day.
Kabir’s second film in six weeks after the epic success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan takes an aggressive what-if stand against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. It does so with a cool candour that makes for a bracing jolting wake-up call for the two nations at a proxy war rattling sabres across the barbed fence.
Phantom works on a simple premise. You give us 26/11. We take revenge. As simple as that. In many ways the very talented Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub playing a raw Raw agent (no, I am not stammering) represents the voice of the nation. His inexperience among veterans who plot »

The second time when Madan Mohan was declined the award for his movie Woh Kaun Thi in 1965 she was not only depressed but quite annoyed and rightly so as each song from the film was a rare gem. Remember the hit parade 'Lag Jaa »
