Director Mark Maine graduated from Clairemont High School, which was the inspiration for Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Being that it's his Alma Mater, Mark Maine decided to showcase the Varsity Football team during the opening credit sequence. So he filmed the Clairemont High "Chieftains" playing the Morse High "Tigers" during their last official game of the 2011 season. See more »
