Tony Maietta is an American film historian, host, author, producer, and actor. He specializes in the "Golden Age" of Hollywood. He is the host of the CBS Home Video releases of "The Lucy Show", Lucille Ball's follow up series to "I Love Lucy". His work as a film historian includes numerous DVD audio commentaries and documentaries, including a featured role in the Emmy-nominated TCM series "Moguls and Movie Stars". He is also a contributing author of the book, "Douglas Fairbanks"(Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences/University of California Press, 2008). He maintains his identity on the web through two blogs, "Hitchhiking to Nirvana" and "Cinematic City". He lives in Los Angeles and New York.
