Comedy Series 'Call Me Fitz' Heading to Latin America

Latin America will get to see the Canadian TV series Call Me Fitz. In fact, the show will premiere on the network CanalSony on October 7 at 10:30 Pm. Speaking about the Canadian premiere, it will be on September 19 at 8 Pm on HBO Canada, a premium cable network.

Note that this premiere will take place at 10:30 Pm in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Peru. As for Argentina and Chile, the premiere will happen the same day on the same network at 11:30 Pm.

In this show, we follow Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Jason Priestley), a used car dealers who has a knack for having a morally unacceptable behaviour at times. A second trailer of the Canadian comedy series Call Me Fitz is now online thanks to HBO Canada, a Canadian premium cable network. Moreover, the show will premiere on September 19 at 8 Pm on HBO Canada.

In this Canadian show, we follow Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Jason Priestley), a used car dealers who has a knack for having a morally unacceptable behaviour at times. After Fitz botches a test drive and puts his latest customer in a coma, he finds himself face to face with a new salesman on the lot: Larry (Ernie Grunwald), a man with a heart of gold. Rookie Blue: ABC TV Show Renewed for Season Two

Just three weeks into its first season, Rookie Blue has been renewed for a second season by ABC and Canwest. Of several network TV shows that have debuted this summer, Rookie Blue has been the only one to perform well.

Debuting on ABC on June 24th, Rookie Blue revolves around five young and ambitious cops that are fresh out of the Police Academy. The cast includes Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Ben Bass, Enuka Okuma, Travis Milne, Eric Johnson, Charlotte Sullivan, Matt Gordon, Noam Jenkins, Melanie Nicholls-King, Aidan Devine, Lyriq Bent, and Peter MacNeill.

The Movie Network Renews 'Call Me Fitz' for 2nd Season

Even if Call Me Fitz's first season will premiere on The Movie Network, a Canadian premium cable network, on September 2010, the show has been renewed for a second season.

In fact, The Movie Network made this announcement as it also announced its slate of new and returning original TV series.

In this half-hour comedy, we follow Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick (Jason Priestley), a second-hand car salesman. Richard has a knack for having a morally unacceptable behaviour while thinking that his life is perfect. After Fitz botches a test drive and puts his latest customer in a coma, he finds himself face to face with a new salesman on the lot: Larry (Ernie Grunwald), a man with a heart of gold. Meet the Leading Characters of 'Rookie Blue'

Global, that Canadian private network which is barely interested in airing any original series, is organizing its marketing campaign for its police dramedy Rookie Blue. In these clips, you'll meet one of the five rookie cops in the TV series.

Andy McNally's (Missy Peregrym) father (Peter MacNeill) was once a respected detective, but he left the Toronto Police department with a tarnished reputation. This means that Andy would like to bring honour back in her family. However, when she's on the job, Andy feels like a fraud most of the time.

Dov Epstein (Gregory Smith) has been raised by hippie parents and is excited to become a policeman. After all, becoming it was his childhood dream.

Chris Diaz (Travis Milne) is a small-town boy who has landed in Canada's biggest city and he wasn't prepared for policing in a city like Toronto. Besides, he follows the police manual to the letter. »

Since a few days, Global, a Canadian TV network, has been been showing the first TV spot for its upcoming original series Rookie Blue. Have in mind that this police dramedy created by Tassie Cameron will premiere in simulcast on ABC, an American TV network, and Global on June 24, 2010 at 9 p.m.

The TV series follows a group of five young ambitious cops from Toronto who just got out of the police academy. Obviously, the first episode documents their first day on the job.

After a presence at the latest Toronto International Film Festival and Montreal's Festival du nouveau cinéma, Reginald Harkema's Leslie, My Name Is Evil will finally be released in Canada on May 21, 2010. This Canadian film is obviously a mix of drama, comedy and horror.

Synopsis:
