Mini Bio (1)
Born in Taiwan, Lung Fei starred in a multitude of films in Hong Kong and other Asian cinema markets throughout the 1970s and '80s. Appearing primarily in martial arts films, he is perhaps best known for his portrayals of thick bearded or mustached villains.
He appeared in several films opposite Yu Wang (Jimmy Wang Yu) including Zhan shen tan (1973) (Beach of the Wargods), Tang ren piao ke (1973) (The Screaming Tiger), Master of the Flying Guillotine (1976) (Master of the Flying Guillotine) and the hit kung-fu film, The Savage Killers (1976) (Tiger and Crane Fist aka The Savage Killers). Tiger and Crane Fist was later spoofed in Steve Oedekerk's chop-socky comedy, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) in which Fei's charater's name is changed to "Betty." Some of Fei's other notable roles include appearances in Sheng jian feng yun (1977) (Imperial Sword) with Ling Chia (aka Gia Ling/Chia Ling/Judy Lee), Shao Lin ban pan tu (1977) (Shaolin Traitor) with the legendary Carter Wong and Lingfeng Shangguan (Polly Shang Kuan), Tian di shuang yi tui (1978) (Dual Flying Kicks) with marital arts mule-kicker, "Delon" Tao-Liang Tan.
With the decline of the martial arts genre during the early 1990's, Lung Fei retired from acting after 20 years and over 100 films. He has since made only minor appearances in film and television.
