A lot of it is up here.” Betty than pointed to the backseat of her Camero and gave everyone a big wink, just in case her grandkids didn’t feel awkward enough already. White, who stars in the upcoming You Again with Jamie Lee Curtis and Kristen Bell, went on to dish about her first, brief marriage: “I married my first husband because we wanted to sleep together,” she claims. “It lasted six months and we were in bed for six months.” Seriously, imagine your own »

Million Dollar Password: Betty White Explains Why the TV Show Failed

30 June 2010 12:40 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

One of the most popular game shows in TV history has got to be Password. The game show began on CBS daytime in 1961 and various versions of the show have been on the air for a total of 20 years over the past five decades. There have even been times when the show aired in daytime and primetime simultaneously.

The last primetime version, Million Dollar Password, didn't fare as well as the previous incarnations. It was hosted by Regis Philbin and lasted just 12 episodes.

Betty White holds a record for being the only person to guest on all the versions of Password. She also met host Allen Ludden on the series. They were married in 1963 and remained together until his death from cancer in 1981.

'Golden Girl' Betty White, Alan Ludden's sex pics being shopped?

16 June 2010 10:59 AM, PDT | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Even "Golden Girls" Betty White can't escape the current craze for celebrity sex tapes and racy photos shot on cell phones ending up on the Web.

Now there's a report that four photos of Betty and her late husband, TV host Allen Ludden, engaging in, ahem, how can we put this... marital acts of love, are being shopped around.

According to those ever-present but always mysteriously unidentified industry insiders, the photos were found in a box of memorabilia left in Betty's old house.

Missing anything, Betty?

At least it's not photos of her with her "Hot in Cleveland" love interest, Carl Reiner.

If it's true (and we seriously doubt it is), are you surprised? And would you, you know, take a look? Trust us, Betty was a total babe back in the day. Still is, as far as we're concerned.

White Refuses To Reconcile With Estranged Stepdaughter

20 May 2010 12:06 PM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Golden Girls star Betty White has refused to end a 30-year feud with her stepdaughter Martha Ludden.

The veteran actress wed Ludden's father, U.S. TV personality Allen Ludden, in 1963 when his daughter was 13.

Martha resented White for taking the place of her mother, who had died just two years earlier, in 1961, and the pair never got along. The teenager turned her anger into rebellion and her behaviour caused friction with her own father.

A source tells the National Enquirer, Allen used to argue with Martha constantly over her... anger towards Betty. Her tumultuous relationship with her father caused him a lot of grief."

Allen was eventually diagnosed with stomach cancer and passed away in 1981 - and White has never forgiven Martha for causing so many problems, according to the tabloid.

The insider says, "I think Betty blamed Martha for making Allen's last years nothing but misery and heartache."

Almost three decades after Allen's death, White is still ignoring all attempts by Martha to reconcile.

Martha confirms, "The last time I spoke with my stepmother, Betty White, was 30 years ago." »

Can't get enough Betty White?

Even Robert Pattinson thinks the 88-year-old actress is hot.

But if you want to see Betty when she was really sizzling -- at the ripe young age of 52 -- check out  her appearances on the celebrity '70s game show, "The Match Game." Fourteen episodes of the game show, originally aired between 1974 and 1977, will air on Gsn (That's Game Show Network) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Et on Saturday (May 8).

Then you can take a break, have some dinner, until she hosts "Saturday Night Live" later that night.

Btw, we hear she won't be doing an impersonation of an older Lindsay Lohan, still partying in her '80s. It would have been funny but mean. And that's so not Betty's style.

According to Gsn, "Match Game" Betty does some exotic dancing, answers the eternal question, "Every time I go streaking, Allen Ludden »

Can't wait until Saturday, May 8 at 11:30 p.m. Et to get your Betty White fix when she hosts "Saturday Night Live?" The Game Show Network has just the thing to get you by.

The seven-hour, 14-episode marathon will feature episodes from 1974 to 1977 and all of them have Ms. Betty White on the six-celebrity panel.

Gsn teases that the episodes include:

Betty White's 'Saturday Night Live' promo: 'Do you know they call me a cougar?'

26 April 2010 10:50 AM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Veteran television actress and funnywoman Betty White is joining studio 8H to host "Saturday Night Live" on May 8.

Joining her are "SNL" veterans Molly Shannon, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey in an all-star "SNL" salute to women on Mother's Day weekend.

Betty's first "SNL" promo is available and she hilariously says she's hosting "SNL," "thanks to the internet." It's funny 'cause it's true. The Betty White Facebook campaign is certainly at least partially responsible for her hosting gig.

We also love that they're playing up her supposed cougar status. We aren't sure what Betty's been up to in recent years, but she met her husband Allen Ludden on the set of "Password" in 1962 and was married to him until his death in 1981, it was really quite romantic.

Betty White's "Saturday Night Live" airs Saturday, May 8 at 11:30 p.m. Et.

CBS has yet to announce how it will fill the void in daytime once As the World Turns ends its 54-year run in September, but it's looking more likely that the network will go with a game show. Betty White, who will be honored at Saturday's Screen Actors Guild Awards with a lifetime achievement salute, seems to just get better with age. For many years after that you might say she was best known not so much as an actress but as herself, Betty White - pretty, pert, charming - on talk shows and game shows.
