Perry Lopez was born on July 22, 1929 in New York City, New York, USA as Julios Caesar Lopez. He was an actor, known for Chinatown (1974), Kelly's Heroes (1970) and Mister Roberts (1955). He was married to Claire Kelly. He died on February 14, 2008 in Beverly Hills, California, USA.

Was featured as Lt. Lou Escobar in the 1974 classic Chinatown (1974) starring Jack Nicholson. He then reprised the role in the sequel, The Two Jakes (1990), which Nicholson directed as well as starred in.
Began his career on the New York stage in the early 1950s before coming out to Hollywood and played a number of ethnic roles, notably Hispanics and Indians.
