Jodi Long was born on January 1, 1954 in New York City, New York, USA as Jodi Leung. She is an actress and writer, known for RoboCop 3 (1993), Beginners (2010) and The Hot Chick (2002).

Attended the acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase (State University of New York at Purchase).
(Sept. 7 & 8, 2000) Appeared as Madame Liang in a pre-Broadway workshop of Rodgers & Hemmerstein's FLOWER DRUM SONG, adapted by David Henry Hwang.
Daughter of vaudeville parents Larry & Trudie. Her father was a Chinese-Australian tap dancer and her mother a Japanese-American showgirl.
First performed on Broadway at age of 7 in the play "Nowhere To Go But Up".
