Personal Quote:

Ireland has been a truly inspirational place to film Penny Dreadful (2014). Not only does it have deeply talented crews, but the city's unspoiled architecture perfectly captures London at the turn of the last century. Also, the ghosts of Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde walk these streets, which is pretty inspirational for us too.

Trivia:

He has said that his favorite characters on Penny Dreadful are Vanessa Ives and The Creature/Caliban/John Clare. He liked Them so much he wrote an episode, "A Blade Of Glass'', centered around just the two of Them. See more »
