Katherine Waterston ("Taking Woodstock," "Michael Clayton") has landed a lead female role in Paul Thomas Anderson's adaptation of the Thomas Pynchon novel "Inherent Vice". shootingg kicks off this Summer.

Waterston plays Shasta, the free-spirited hippie and ex-girlfriend of Joaquin Phoenix’s character Doc. Now a straight-laced partner to a real estate mogul, she enlists Doc's help to protect the mogul from his murderous wife and her toyboy. [Source: Deadline]

CSI: Miami actor Rex Linn has joined the cast of Seth MacFarlane's Western comedy, "A Million Ways to Die in the West," which is currently shooting in New Mexico. Linn will play a small-town sheriff.

The first still from the true-crime tale Devil's Knot, which is based on the tragedy surrounding the now freed West Memphis Three, is here, and it offers your first look at Reese Witherspoon as Pam Hobbs, the mother of Steve Branch, one of the three children savagely murdered in Arkansas in 1993.

Synopsis:
