Alison Limerick was born in 1959 in Stepney, London, England as Alison Thérèse Limerick. She is known for her work on The Ghosts of Oxford Street (1991), Mountains of the Moon (1990) and Fanny and Elvis (1999).

Attended the London School of Contemporary Dance before beginning her music career in the mid 1980s.
Is internationally known for her classic club hit 'Where Love Lives' which was originally a hit in 1991 and has been remixed and re-released sveral times since (notably a top ten UK hit in 1996). Other hits include 'Make It on My Own', 'Come Back For Real Love', 'Gettin' It Right', 'Time of Our Lives', 'Love Come Down' and 'Put Your Faith in Me'.
