I mean, there was a Quentin Tarantino shaped vacuum, then suddenly, Reservoir Dogs was out and it was being talked about as if it was the cinematic equivalent of sliced bread. After that it was difficult to walk ten paces without someone saying ‘Have you seen Reservoir Dogs?!’ I had seen it. And, even as a youngster (too young perhaps to have been watching Reservoir Dogs), I was just as blown away by it as everyone else.
