Did You Know?

Stage and silent screen character actor. In films from 1914, invariably as dastardly villains. He was frequently given to outrageously overact, as in an early version of the Stevenson classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920). Unsurprisingly, he did not survive the transition to sound pictures for long.
