Ronald Lewis was born on December 11, 1928 in Port Talbot, West Glamorgan, Wales. He was an actor, known for Helen of Troy (1956), Billy Budd (1962) and Robbery Under Arms (1957). He was married to Elizabeth Phillips and Norah Gorsen. He died on January 11, 1982 in Pimlico, London, England.

Trivia (3)

Ronald Lewis was a Welsh actor kept busy in British films throughout the 1950s. In the 1960s, however, his career slackened off appreciably, and the situation got worse in the 70s. He was declared bankrupt at the start of the 1980s and committed suicide by means of a barbiturate overdose in January 1982.
After the war he played in Rep then made his London debut with the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park.
He was known as an aggressive and perhaps unstable man, with a history of violence towards others, including women.
