Brie Larson is widely regarded as “pretty cool,” mostly because she tends to do things that are pretty cool. She was in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, she was in a Jenny Lewis video, she was in a Sleater-Kinney video, and she might be flying into the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon. Now, though, Larson has topped all of that with a great tweet related to Room, her most famous movie that does not include Michael Cera defeating seven evil exes.

Watch Ryan Adams' Riveting 'Austin City Limits' Acoustic Set

After taking part in Austin City Limits' milestone 40th season, Ryan Adams was back on the long-running music program Saturday as the prolific singer-songwriter delivered a rare all-acoustic set as part of Acl's Season 41. Both Acl performances stemmed from Adams' October 22, 2014 visit to Austin's Moody Theatre; whereas the Season 40 episode (shared with Jenny Lewis) focused on the latter half of that concert where Adams was surrounded by a full band, Saturday's episode spotlighted Adams' solo set that night.

Watch Ryan Adams' Tender 'Acl' 'Desire' Performance

Ryan Adams last appeared on Austin City Limits last January with Jenny Lewis. But for his latest episode of the long-running concert show, Adams is delivering a rare solo acoustic set. Rolling Stone has a clip from his tender performance of "Desire," off 2002's Demolition.

During the episode, which airs Saturday, January 16th on PBS, Adams dedicates the song to his manager, who he claims is "the most tolerant man on the face of the planet." Detailing how much the pair have been through, Adams reveals that "Desire" is his manager's favorite Adams song. »
