Samm Levine products
Samm Levine got his first taste of the spotlight when, at age 12, he emceed his sixth-grade talent show. Performing stand-up at his bar mitzvah the following year, the aspiring jokester was soon being dropped off by his mother for performances at such Big Apple comedy staples as Caroline's, Stand-Up New York, and the Gotham Comedy Club. His praise in television work began with his performance as a young member of the "geek" half of television's "Freaks and Geeks" (1999).
Though the show was canceled after a short run, episodes gained a devoted following thanks to repeat airings on the FOX Family Channel. Samm later re-joined "Freaks and Geeks" (1999) creator Judd Apatow for his next small-screen endeavor, the widely praised "Undeclared" (2001). That same year, Samm made his feature debut in the teen spoof Not Another Teen Movie (2001).
Samm Levine has appeared in over 30 different television shows and numerous films. On August 15, 2008, it was announced that Samm was going to be a Basterd in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino World War II epic, Inglourious Basterds (2009). Following the acclaimed Tarantino picture, Samm joined two diverse office comedies, IFC's Made for Each Other (2009) with Danny Masterson & Christopher Masterson and Drones (2010). Raised in Fort Lee, New Jersey
He is the youngest member of the New York Friars Club.
Added an extra M to his name because his actor's guild had a listing for a Sam Levine.
His character in Inglourious Basterds (2009) was originally a much larger part in the film, actually being one of the primary members of the Basterds. However, his part was cut considerably smaller in the final edit. While in the script he was involved and speaking throughout entire scenes, in the final cut of the film his character has only one line and (somewhat famously) disappears before the end.
