Marius Lesoeur was born in 1911. He was a producer and writer, known for Une vierge pour Saint-Tropez (1975), L'éventreur de Notre-Dame (1975) and Captive Women 4 (1977). He died in 2003.

Founder of Studios Mobiles de France.
Founder of Paris-Nice Productions.
In 1957, became the owner of the French film production/distribution company Eurociné.
Father of Daniel Lesoeur.
Grandfather of Anouchka.
His company, Eurociné, was one of the main source of z-grade movies in France. Often coproduced with Spain, the Eurociné films were well-known for their incredibly shoddy production values and have since gained somewhat of a cult status. The company still exists today managed by Lesoeur's son, though its activity consists mainly in distributing films.
