Batman v Superman set photo suggests another major DC character is already dead before the movie

8 hours ago | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Warning. Potentially major spoilers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the DC Cinematic Universe follow. You have been warned…

If rumours are to be believed, two big characters from the DC universe will already be dead going in to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with reports suggesting that both Jim Gordon and Jason Todd will have passed away prior to the events of next year’s DC superhero showdown. Well, a new (and alleged) set photo has surfaced, which suggests Robin will indeed be dead – only not the Robin we were expecting…

During filming on The Dark Knight Rises, a fake name was used on the tombstone seen at the Wayne family plot with “Bruce Wayne” added with CGI during post-production to protect the film’s ending, so assuming the above photo isn’t a fake, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Dick Grayson will be deceased in the DC Cinematic Universe. »

15 April 2015 1:16 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

If rumours are to be believed, comic book fans will not have to wait as long as they first thought to see the long-awaited first trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Once the short tease has been releasde, fans will be able to sign-up to check out the full trailer at a cinema of their choosing from a list of participating theatres on Monday April 20th (at this point, it is unclear if this will be a Us-only deal, or will include some UK cinemas).

Official credits for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice revealed on film’s official website

13 April 2015 11:51 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

While not exactly ground-breaking news, some new tidbits have been released on Warner Bros. Pictures first film in their DC Cinematic Universe, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, with the credits for the film unveiled on the official website(although they have subsequently been removed).

There are no real surprises here, with Ben Affleck getting top billing above Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot receiving ninth credit on the list behind Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter, suggesting her role is perhaps not as substantial as first thought. Fellow Justice League cast members Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) are not present in the list, although both are set to cameo in the film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice rumour suggests another major Batman character is already dead

8 April 2015 12:34 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Warning – Possible Spoilers Below…

Last year we heard the report that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would be set in a time after Jim Gordon was already dead, which would make sense as Ben Affleck’s Batman is said to be a long-standing crime fighter who has been doing this for many, many years. Well now a new report is suggesting another major Batman character will also be dead.

According to Latino-Review’s El Mayimbe’s Instagram account, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will contain a case that holds Jason Todd’s Robin suit and that Todd was killed by The Joker and Harley Quinn, which the pair will discuss when they team up in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Following the rumours of Red Hood being a part of Suicide Squad, there is some speculation that Todd will be under the mask, following the storyline from Under the Hood. »

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer to be attached to Mad Max: Fury Road

1 April 2015 4:45 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Following the news yesterday that the next trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron, we now have the news that the first trailer Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may also arrive next month.

Collider are reporting that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer will be attached to fellow Warner Bros. tentpole release Mad Max: Fury Road. According to reports, Warner Bros. are worried that the hype and buzz for Avengers: Age of Ultron will hurt the box office of Mad Max: Fury Road, and attaching the trailer for one of next year’s biggest films could be a way to get more asses in seats, so to speak.

First Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer Attached To Mad Max: Fury Road

31 March 2015 8:44 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Much attention and speculation has been paid to the first trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has been rumored to debut at several comic book conventions and to be attached to every Warner Brothers film from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies to Jupiter Ascending. Now, it appears that the wait is (really) almost over, as the trailer will reportedly arrive alongside Mad Max: Fury Road on May 15h, 2015.

Latino Review was first to suggest that Mad Max would carry with it our first look at one of the most anticipated comic book films of all time, but it was Collider that slapped the rumor with an official confirmation. According to their sources, the trailer is “absolutely” attached to Fury Road, and could even appear online before that if Warner Brothers’ marketing team is confident enough to battle Disney’s marketing behemoth that will accompany »

Textless version of the Jason Momoa Aquaman character image from Batman v Superman released, first trailer coming over Easter?

Yesterday marked exactly one year to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with Warner Bros. celebrating by giving us our first look at a bald Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and now EW (via Cbm) has released an official version of the Jason Momoa Aquaman image, minus the ‘Unite the Seven’ tagline…

On a side note, we’ve heard a whisper today that the first trailer for Batman v Superman will be with us on April 4th. This is unconfirmed, and there may be nothing to it so please don’t take it as gospel. Our money is on the first trailer coming with Mad Max: Fury Road. But you never know…

First look at Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

25 March 2015 8:36 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Though we know it’s setting the scene for the larger DC cinematic universe and have a good idea who’ll be in it, there isn’t that much information around Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Up until today, we didn’t even know if Lex Luthor would have hair or not. But now we do!

Just released by Entertainment Weekly, here’s the first photo of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor:

He definitely look intense, plus he’s got previous experience from The Social Network playing a billionaire who isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers.

Eisenberg is set to debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and is also rumoured to be a part of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad in 2016.

First Picture of 'Batman v Superman's Lex Luthor

25 March 2015 8:10 AM, PDT | Rope of Silicon | See recent Rope Of Silicon news »

The first picture of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor from Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice has just premiered. Much was made over whether or not Eisenberg would have hair or not and I think this pretty much answers that question. Snyder was quoted by Entertainment Weekly, who premiered the pic, saying, "He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there." To go along with that, digital artist Scott Johnson posted his own color-corrected version on Twitter. This isn't official, but might give you a better idea »

Gal Gadot responds to criticism of her Wonder Woman casting in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

22 March 2015 3:12 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

During an interview with Robot Underdog, Gal Gadot has been speaking about her upcoming role as Wonder Woman in next year’s DC ensemble Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and more specifically, the criticism levied towards her casting as the Amazon Princess.

“They said that I was too skinny and my boobs were too small. hen I was younger I would take criticism really hard. But now it mostly amused me. The true amazons had one boob so it won’t bother them in their archery. So it’s not going to be like real amazons. We always try to make everyone happy but we can’t… After they asked me here, In Israel, if I have eating disorders and why am I so skinny, they said my head was too big and my body was like a broomstick I can take anything. 'Smallville' Pa Kent Better Than 'Man of Steel' Says John Schneider

14 March 2015 11:30 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Former The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider can breathe easy knowing that Pa Kent won't be featured, as far as we know, in the upcoming Man of Steel follow-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The actor portrayed Clark Kent's adoptive father Jonathan on Smallville. Having some ownership over the iconic DC character, he doesn't mind saying his is the best version yet, and possibly ever.

John Schneider doesn't have a problem with Kevin Costner or his performance in Man of Steel. His problems lie within the writing of the character itself. Even though there is a long list of actors who have played Johnathan Kent throughout the years, John Schneider truly believes that the writers of Smallville were able to capture the true essence of the character better than anyone before or after. He explains:

"I love Kevin, I love what Kevin does. I didn't care for the fact that they wanted. »
