- Waldemar Leitgeb was born on September 14, 1901 in Konstantinopel, Turkey. He was an actor, known for The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1943), Die Rothschilds (1940) and Eine Frau kommt in die Tropen (1938). He died on July 21, 1974 in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany.

- The actor Waldemar Leitgeb took acting lessons and started his theater career in 1918 in Lucerne afterwards. In the next years followed theater engagements in different Swiss cities before hie went to Germany in 1925. There he played in Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
- After a longer stay at the Deutsches Theater in Prague he played regularly in Stuttgart from 1932. Other cities followed in the next years.
