Lillian Leighton was born on May 17, 1874 in Auroraville, Wisconsin, USA as Lillian Brown Leighton. She was an actress and writer, known for Feet First (1930), Parisian Love (1925) and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1910). She died on March 19, 1956 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Trivia (2)

She was to play a role in The Volga Boatmen, being filmed in Rio Vista, California in 1923. She had an argument with director DeMille (she was somewhat uncontrollable) and he threw her off of the picture. This is the reason she has an unidentified role and is uncredited on the picture, although it appears on her list of credits.
A noted villainess of the silent screen, with Selig in the 1910's. Still seen in small supporting roles during the 30's.
