He has also won the Golden Globe Award of the Foreign Press Association for "Specials for Women", NBC; the Albert Lasker Medical Award for "What Price Health", with Sen. Ted Kennedy, NBC; two consecutive New England Press Ass'n First Place Awards for Best Weekly Newspaper Column for "The New York Observer" & "The Litchfield County Times"]; the National Media Award for "The Trapped Housewife, Purex Specials for Women" NBC; the Cine Golden Eagle Award for Best Industrial Film for "Moonflights & Medicine", for Merck; the Producers Guild Award for "The Breaking Point", ABC; the Peabody Award for "Biographies in Sound", NBC; the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Award for "Medical Emergency", NBC; a nomination for the Christopher Award for Outstanding Writing for "Never Say Goodbye", CBS; and the Writers Guild Award for "One Life to Live", ABC.

He has served as Executive Producer for NBC, ABC, CBS, and David Wolper Productions. Recent works [1999-2002] include a pilot "Scandalous Art, with Maury Povich, Bravo; book, music and lyrics for "Beachballs!", original musical; and "The Boat", drama for production at The Helen Hayes Theater in 2005.
