Jason Beghe talks Chicago Pd universe: "It's a brand-new concept"

6 April 2015 4:01 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Chicago Pd star Jason Beghe has admitted he is hoping for "crossover heaven" if NBC picks up its pilot Chicago Med.

Beghe's cop show Chicago Pd already takes place in the same universe as Chicago Fire and Law & Order: Svu - with NBC looking to add another show to the franchise with hospital drama Chicago Med.

"Hopefully NBC will pick it up," Beghe - who plays Det. Hank Voight - told Digital Spy. "There's all the makings of a very good and long-lasting series there, so I think it's a pretty good bet that it will go. It will be crossover heaven - I'll have four jobs!"

The actor suggested that the multi-show universe, complete with crossovers, is "good for all the shows if it's done correctly".

"It's a brand-new concept," he said. "It's certainly good for the actors, and the network and the producers. As long as it's good »

To celebrate the anniversary, we tracked down little Cindy Brady herself, actress Olivia Hack. Now 31, Hack considers the flick a perfect "time capsule" of her life at the time.  "I feel so old, I can't believe it's been 20 years," Olivia tells toofab's Brian Particelli. "It's a trip to watch it back, we had a really good time! I don't sit back and watch [the movie and its sequel] all the time, but when they're on TV, you remember a certain day that you shot this. It's forever, »
