The producer of America's Next Top Model has claimed that they were forced to fire judge Paulina Porizkova because of the economy. Former supermodel Porizkova, who joined the reality TV series to replace the departing Twiggy last year, had initially suggested that she was given the axe because of her ego. Paulina Porizkova was being implicit when she revealed on Craig Ferguson's "Late Late Show" earlier this week concerning the reason she has been fired from "America's Next Top Model". But the judge who was the replacement of Twiggy, opens up more to Access Hollywood regarding the real reason she was let go. And it concerns a lot with Tyra Banks.
In the "Late Show", Paulina admitted that producers thought she has a big ego. Explaining further what she meant by that, the supermodel said on "Billy Bush Show", "I must admit I was having a little bit of an issue with Tyra being late for every judging. It's six hours later and I feel like I am being told my time is not as valuable as hers. They pointed out that I should shut up and be grateful for the job and that Tyra is really busy."

America's Next Top Model judge Paulina Porizkova says she's been fired from the reality competition series.
Only one night before the Season 12 finale of America's Next Top Model (Wednesday at 8 pm/Et on CW), Porizkova told late night host Craig Ferguson she was axed — on her birthday, no less.
"Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles ... because I am looking for a job because I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday," said Porizkova.

Former runway beauty-turned-tv judge Paulina Porizkova has been fired from Tyra Banks' hit reality show America's Next Top Model for having "an ego problem".
Porizkova, who shot to fame in the 1980s, revealed her 44th birthday on 9 April was ruined when she received the bad news in a telephone call.
Making the announcement during an appearance on U.S. TV's Late Late Show on Tuesday night, she told host Craig Ferguson, "Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles? Because I am looking for a job - because I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday."
Producers claim the Czech-born star was booted from the modelling contest's judging panel to cut costs - but Porizkova believes that was only part of the issue.
She adds, "The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed, that America's Next Top Model has gotten too fat, and they needed to cut some fat, and the fat was me.
"I figured it was either that, or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn't aware of, until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."
Porizkova joined America's Next Top Model for its 10th season in 2008 as a replacement for British fashion icon Twiggy. The current 12th cycle, which completed filming earlier this year, is her last.

Paulina Porizkova's job in "America's Next Top Model" is short-lived. The supermodel who joined in the 10th cycle to replace Twiggy as one of the judges has shared that she was fired by "someone" from the show and it's probably due to her "gigantic huge ego".
"Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles? Because I am looking for a job," Porizkova explained to Craig Ferguson when she appeared on "The Late Late Show" on Tuesday, May 12. "Because I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday." Porizkova turned 44 on April 9 which means that she may be excluded from the judging panel in the upcoming 13th cycle.
