Sofie Katrine Lassen-Kahlke was born on July 18 1979 in Denmark, and was discovered by producer Regner Grasten. She attended an acting academy in Hollywood in 1998 along with Robert Hansen, and made her debut as Anne in The Rascal (1994). Her big break came as Kaffe-Hanne in the TV series "Brødrene Mortensens jul" (1998).

She has also been in several Danish musicals, such as Askepop.
