Dark Horse Comics has confirmed that Drusilla has been delayed indefinitely. The Angel and Faith and Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff miniseries, which was to be written by actress Juliet Landau, will no longer arrive in June, as originally reported by Bleeding Cool. Dark Horse has said that "scheduling issues" have delayed the project, promising more news on it and another popular Buffy character in the near future. "The previously announced Drusilla miniseries has been delayed due to unavoidable scheduling issues," the publisher (more) »

Tonight on Criminal Minds: Matthew Gray Gubler Directs (Sneak Peek)
Matthew Gray Gubler has stepped behind the Criminal Minds camera once again as he directed tonight's episode "Heathridge Manor." The team heads to Oregon to investigate what appears to be a series of ritualistic murders; these crimes center around a now abandoned asylum that treated the criminally insane. Tonight's guest stars are from suitably creepy previous projects; Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) is playing Detective Gassner who is assisting the Bau and Juliet Landau (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) is taking the Drusilla approach as psychiatric patient Catherine Heathridge.
What the team find is evidence of tactics that were used during the Salem Witch Trials, including how the bodies have been dressed; what links this old asylum with this time in history? What we do know is that a brother and sister are suffering from delusions that their »

Tonight on Criminal Minds: Morgan Uses His Past to Connect with a Victim (Sneak Peek)
The team head to the Arizona desert tonight on Criminal Minds after an emaciated boy is found wondering alone and they learn that he has escaped a kidnapper. This becomes even more complicated when they learn that another child has been taken and it is down to the Bau to get this kidnapping victim to help lead them to the unsub.
The boy is in a traumatized state and so they must figure out a way to make him feel safe enough to share what he knows. This is obviously a very difficult case and Morgan (Shemar Moore) takes it upon himself to reach into his own scarred past to bond with the boy. Could this have something to do with last season's episode "The Big Sea" were we found out that Morgan has »

Juliet Landau will write a Drusilla miniseries for Dark Horse Comics. The actress will spotlight the character she played in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. The vampire Drusilla recently made her return in the pages of Christos Gage's Angel and Faith. The miniseries will pick up directly from that first reveal. "I think the appeal is really that she's such a rich character with so many dynamics and contradictions," Landau told Comic Book Resources. "She's a villain, but she's also got a very sweet, childlike vulnerable side. She's really a mystery from having all these elements rolled up into one. She remains this mysterious, enigmatic character. "One of the things that's exciting in relation to (more) »

Ask any real vampire fan to name 5 bloodsuckers that rate a 10 on the creepy-meter and inevitably Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer will be on that list. In 1997 Juliet Landau and James Marsters roared into Sunnydale as Drusilla and Spike, a pair of wicked vampire lovers who were out to do the Slayer and Scoobies a whole world of harm. Though their plans never worked out, our devotion to Dru and Spike endured, and fans have always grumbled that we didn’t get more Dru in the long running Buffyverse franchises.
Dark Horse Comics looks to rectify that oversite this June. The psychic psycho vamp will take center stage in a 5 issue mini-series; what’s better is that the book will be written by none other than Juliet Landau herself! Details are sketchy at present, but Landau told Shelf Life that the first issue of Drusilla picks up immediately after »

Probably one of the most memorable villains from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the unhinged vampire Drusilla, portrayed by Juliet Landau, will be making her return to the Buffy universe in an upcoming issue of comic spin off Angel and Faith. This appearance leads into a five issue mini series, written by Landau, and will ship in June from Dark Horse Comics.
As revealed by Entertainment Weekly, the spin off will pick up right after her appearance in Angel and Faith #9. The series will be drawn by artists Cliff Richards (Omac Project, New Thunderbolts) and Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash, Ant-Man & Wasp), who Landau is working “very closely” with on the visual style of the series. This is not her first time writing for a comic, having co-written a Drusilla centric arc in the previous Angel series, After The Fall, but it will be her first time she will tackle the insane blood sucker on her own. »

If we had to pick our top 5 "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" characters of all time, there's little doubt that the evil and completely batshit nuts Drusilla would show up somewhere on that list. Now the actress who played her, Juliet Landau, is out to prove she still has some bite.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the mad vampire villainess Drusilla, who appeared in only 17 episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" during the show’s seven-season run, is back and in a big way! EW reports that Landau is currently writing a five-issue Drusilla comic book miniseries, part of Dark Horse Comics and "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon’s ongoing expansion of the Buffyverse in comic book form.
Due to launch in June, the first issue of the spin-off will pick up “literally a panel after” Drusilla’s final appearance in Issue No. 9 of the Angel & Faith comic series (out April 25). “I think »

Showing a lot of faith in its resident ginger, TBS has extended Conan O’Brien‘s late-night hit, Conan, through April 2014.
“I am excited to continue my run with TBS because they have been fantastic partners,” O’Brien said in a statement Wednesday. “This means I’ll be taping episodes of Conan well into the Ron Paul presidency.”
Conan debuted in November 2010, nearly a year after O’Brien’s controversial ouster from NBC’s Tonight Show.

As if the real-life crimes featured on Criminal Minds weren’t enough to give you a scare, the show has lined up a former nightmare stalker and an ex-vampire for guest spots in the show’s 19th episode, to be directed by series star Matthew Gray Gubler.
EW has learned exclusively that Robert Englund, known best for his turn as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street, is set to play Det. Gassner, who helps the team at the Bau with a case involving a string of ritualistic murders in Oregon. And Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Juliet Landau »
