‘Line Walker’, one of Tvb’s highest-rated serial dramas in 2014, is hitting the big screen.
Charmaine Sheh is infiltrating the triads once again. Amongst the danger, she has to find the sixth mysterious undercover agent between the two notorious gang members, Louis Koo, who plays a mysterious drug dealer, and Nick Cheung, a tactical cold-blooded killer.
The original main lead, Raymond Lam, will not be in this movie. However, the film has a solid cast featuring Hong Kong superstars like Nick Cheung, Louis Koo, Charmaine Sheh and Francis Ng. Some of the most action-packed scenes shot in Brazil also add a little more exotic flavour to the film.
Line Walker film adaptation will be released in China on August 11, 2016. It is directed by Jazz Boon and produced by Wong Jing.

Jet Li, star of countless classic martial arts movies, teams up with the producer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Kung Fu Hustle for Badge of Fury (aka Badges of Fury) a crime drama caper that is more caper than crime… Even though, at least on paper this would seem like a perfect Hong Kong action flick:
When a spate of murders erupt across Hong Kong, two kick-ass cops are assigned to the case. Chaos soon escalates when they reach a dead end and the detectives must play a deadly game to lure the killer out.
You see from that synopsis I was expecting something special, along the lines of New Police Story or (an undoubtedly sub-par) Infernal Affairs,...

Who doesn’t want to watch a Jet Li movie about a monk who must save a scholar from the lustful advances of a mystical white snake? It’s worth noting, of course, that the aforementioned creature has taken a human form, which will probably make romantic angle a little easier to swallow. The film in question is director Tony Ching Siu-tung’s martial arts driven fantasy outing “The Sorcerer and White Snake”, which is based on the oral Chinese folktale “Legend of the White Snake”. You can read more about that particular topic by clicking right here. The film also stars actor/singer Raymond Lam, who portrays the young man who falls for the sexy snake. I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this stuff. But, I digress. Below you’ll find a handful of stills from the upcoming endeavor, which should find its way into Hong Kong...

“The Jade and the Pearl” is the third release from the new Shaw Brother and Tvb television network team, and sees them this time tackling the enduringly popular period set romantic comedy genre. Directed by Janet Chun (“La Lingerie”, and the recent “La Comedie Humaine”), the film is unsurprisingly a who’s who of young talent from Tvb and the co-producing Emperor Entertainment, headlined by stars Raymond Lam, Charlene Choi, Wong Cho Lam, and Joey Yung. The film gets down to instantly recognisable business as the spoiled Princess Yan (Charlene Choi) accidentally meets the unknowing General Cheng (Raymond Lam) at a speed dating style matchmaking event. Inevitably, when the princess is chosen to marry the prince of the distant nation of Far Far Away, the general is given the task of escorting her through the wilds. Even more inevitably, after a touch of spirited banter, the two fall in love,...
