Jay Laga'aia was born on September 10, 1963 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is an actor and writer, known for Home and Away (1988), Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) and Daybreakers (2009). He has been married to Sandra Jane since August 16, 1990. They have eight children.

Appears in Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith with James Earl Jones, who preceded him in the role of Mufasa in The Lion King.
At his wedding, his Best Man was his Star Wars cast mate, Temuera Morrison.
Has four children with his wife, Sandie, named Matthew, Josefa, Nathaniel, Jessica and one baby.
Was the host of the big Star Wars convention - Celebration III.
Because his character in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), wears an eye patch, he often had difficulty hitting his marks due to poor depth perception.
He has six children, Jeremy (boy) 21, ( is from a previous relationship). Afterwards they said a prayer in Westminster Abby and are still together living and working out of Sydney, Australia
Jay grew up in South Auckland, New Zealand. The area was seen in the hard hitting New Zealand film, Once were Warriors. Starring he good friend and best man, Temuera Morrison.

There is possibilities in everything. When you film in NZ sometimes the budget doesn't quite stretch as far as the script would need. That's when a we use a bit of kiwi ingenuity and lots of duct tape to get us through the scene.
