Lives in Berlin with her longtime companion Claudia Müller, a journalist.

After studying English, American and Romance studies in her hometown, she lived in Paris and the US.

Although being a respected cabaret artist, she is best known for her roles on Oh Gott, Herr Pfarrer (1988) and Mein Leben & ich (2001).

Grew up with four older brothers.
