The 2012 Tribeca Film Festival has announced the lineup for its Tribeca Talks panel series. A few of the talks include Susan Sarandon interviewing director Michael Moore as part of the Directors series; Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro and Judd Apatow participating in a special Tribute panel honoring the 100th anniversary of Universal Picture; and a conversation with artist Shepard Fairey, director Antonino D’Ambrosio, the MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, playwright Eve Ensler and others as they discuss artistic expression. Production delays are bound to occur if there are considerable problems that happen on and off the set. For the new Sylvester Stallone actioner Bullet to the Head, it’s the latter. Twitch (via Firstshowing) has learned that Walter Hill’s new movie is being delayed thanks in part to Stallone’s desire to recut film.
According to the report, the movie was originally slated for an April release, however Warner Bros. cancelled the release date and has rescheduled the movie for a November release instead. As aforementioned, the movie is being delayed because Stallone wants a piece of the editing action.
Stallone is known to be a bit of a control freak. Creative differences had forced the actor to replace the former Bullet to the Head director Wayne Kramer with Walter Hill. But if there was a call to delay the film just so that Stallone can edit it himself, »

Davis died at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, Calif., on Friday afternoon after a month-long hospitalization for liver disease, said Angela Davis. Davis died at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, Calif., on Friday afternoon after a month-long hospitalization for liver disease, said Angela Davis.
Born on June 5, 1943, the bassist gained attention in the revolutionary Detroit band MC5 and later played in a version of the group called Dkt-MC5 with former MC5 members Wayne Kramer on guitar and Dennis Thompson on drums.
The original MC5 rose to prominence from 1964 to 1972, making waves with incendiary anti-establishment lyrics and a blistering early-punk sound, starting with their first album "Kick Out the Jams," released in 1969.
A sought-after bassist and also producer, Davis was planning to be in Belgium this week recording with punk rock musician Sonny Vincent, said Davis' wife.

With The Crow legal dispute between The Weinstein Co. and Relativity Media resolved, the two movie studios can move forward with its production. Today the two studios announced that F. Javier Gutierrez will direct the movie and use a script that will be penned by Jesse Wigutow.
The Crow will be based on James O’Barr’s 1989 comic book of the same name, and Stephen Norrington will pen its script. The film will continue to focus on a musician who dies while unsuccessfully trying to save his fiancée’s life from an attack. One year later, he is resurrected from the dead and is bent on revenge on those who took his and his fiancée’s life.
