Rem Koolhaas was born in 1944 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He is an actor and writer, known for Urbanized (2011), Berlin Babylon (2001) and De blanke slavin (1969). He is married to Madelon Vriesendorp. They have two children.

Trivia (4)

A famous architect.
He attended filmschool with fellow directors/cameramen Jan de Bont and Frans Bromet. They founded the 1,2,3-group at the filmacademy of Amsterdam in the late sixties.
With Rene Daalder, wrote the unproduced script Hollywood Tower for Russ Meyer. [1974]
Winner of the Pritzker Prize, the highest honor in architecture. [2000]
