Back in January, we brought you the first teaser trailer and new posters from director Paul W.S. Anderson’s fifth installment in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution. Now, the studio has released a new international quad poster from the film starring Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Johann Urb, Michelle Rodriguez and Li Bingbing.

Husband and wife Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich are returning later this year with the fifth instalment in the Re franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution.
The first trailer was released at the start of the year, and after since getting a couple of great new images and the first teaser poster, we now have a new banner for the film, courtesy of Cine 1, that sees Jovovich front and centre as the heroine, Alice.
“Alice is captured by Umbrella and awakens in the heart of their operation facility; as she moves further in the complex more of her past is unveiled and continues to hunt for those responsible for the outbreak. Her quest takes her and her newfound allies from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow. After a “mind-blowing” revelation, she is forced to rethink everything she once thought to be true.”

Not too much has been said about the release of the new Resident Evil film Retribution since its new trailer dropped online a few months back. Normally Milla is very active with the fans keeping them up to date on her Twitter handle. For some reason things have been hush hush on set due to everything going viral these days, and I can understand why. Another reason could be due to the lackluster effort of the previous film. The hype just isn’t there anymore. To quote my girlfriend, “There is another one?” Well, yes there is, and a new picture from the film has been released.

Today at WonderCon 2012, Sony Screen Gems presented footage from their big fall release, Resident Evil: Retribution. Good move on their part as there was a huge burst of crowd support when the panel was announced. The fifth film in the series by director Paul W. S. Anderson and star Milla Jovovich features Alice's return to the fight against the Umbrella Corporation. Also returning are some fan-favorites from Resident Evils past. Anderson and Jovovich were on hand to screen the trailer and an action sequence from the film, which promises to be the biggest yet as Resident Evil goes global. His time on One Tree Hill may be over, but Chad Michael Murray is far from being done with television work and has already set up his next project: ABC’s Scruples. Those with a sharp memory will remember this pilot has a very important name attached to it, one that every household should know by now: Natalie Portman. The Oscar winning actress is one of the pilot’s executive producers, giving Murray a run for his money as the main draw for audiences.
TVLine reported Murray was tapped to play Spider, a fashion photographer who has turned his attention toward creative directing. Chad Michael Murray has joined the cast of ABC pilot Scruples. The fashion drama, based on the novel by Judith Krantz, will star Claire Forlani as Wilhelmina 'Billy' Hunnewell Winthrop, a woman who decides to reinvent her image and open Beverly Hills clothing boutique 'Scruples'. One Tree Hill star Murray will play creative director and former photographer Spider, according to TVLine. The role was previously played by Cougar Town's Barry Bostwick in a 1980 CBS adaptation of Scruples, which starred Bionic Woman actress Lindsay Wagner as Wilhelmina.
